Ronald Christopher Wright

01/09/1972 - 09/02/2025

Ronald Christopher Wright of Greensboro, Georgia made his transition from his earthly home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He was born January 9, 1972, to the parentage of the late Apostle Murrin Wright and the late Pastor Lonnie Mae Wright of Greensboro, Georgia.

Ronald joined the Antioch Baptist Church very early in his life. He spent most of his adult life in the Atlanta Metro area. Ronald attended the Greene/Taliaferro Comprehensive High School in Greensboro, Georgia and later went back to complete his GED.

Ronald lived a wonderful life serving as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. He loved people and was always willing to do a good deed. Ron had a humble spirit, but he had a huge presence. He could walk into any room, and, within minutes, he would have everyone laughing. His jokes were not always a masterpiece, but his delivery and the way his eyes would light up were. He was not just telling jokes; he was sharing joy. He had a rare gift for finding humor in everything. We will all truly miss his laughter, his light, and the way he made the world a little brighter just by being in it.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Pastor Lonnie Mae Wright and father, Apostle Murrin Wright; his father-in-law, Robert L. Johnson, Sr. and his sister, Rosalyn Rebecca Wright.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Chanda Wright, stepmother, Prophetess Elaine Wright, mother-in-law Lorine Adams (Jay) of Greensboro, Georgia; four loving and devoted children, Tyrell Wright, Kyler Jernigan, Tymea Waller and Jordan Wright; one granddaughter, Billion Wright; sisters, Anitra Douglas (Kendall) of Milledgeville, Georgia, Sheena McMillan of Covington, Georgia; brothers, Dwayne Wright of Greensboro, Georgia, Sean Wright of Eatonton, Georgia, Stacy Wright, Kansas City, MO, Keith Wright (Renee) of Covington, Georgia, Brian Wright of Atlanta, Georgia; devoted cousin, Freda Harris of Greensboro, Georgia; a devoted friend, Lindy Philbert of Covington, Ga, seven sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
