MR. JAMES TILLMAN, lovingly known by his friends as “Butch,” quietly departed this life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with his loving wife and children at his side.

The Homegoing Services will be on Friday, September 12, 2025, 2:00 P.M., Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, Sandy Ridge Road, Morven, North Carolina.

The Tillman Family will greet family and friends on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 1:30-2:00 P.M. at Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at the family residence.

The public viewing will be on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 2:30-5:30 PM at Smith's Memorial Chapel.
