Wanda Lamont, DNP, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Durham, NC, on September 1, 2025. Wanda dedicated her life to helping others, serving with a generous heart and compassionate spirit as a Doctorate of Nursing Practitioner. She leaves a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father John Henry Lamont. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Irene Lamont, several brothers and sisters along with her identical twin sister, Juanita. Their deep and inseparable bond was a source of great joy and strength throughout their lives. She was a cherished mother to Shameka, Johnathan, and Steven, and a doting grandmother to Johnathan II, Jaylen, Anthony II, Jace, Nia, and Mina. Her legacy of care and kindness will be treasured forever.
