Obituary For Evangelist Irene Agnes Reese

Evangelist Irene Agnes Reese was born on August 13, 1945 to the late Ralph Leon Reese, Sr. and Irene Reese Briggs in Fort Pierce, FL. She matriculated through the schools of Saint Lucie County and ultimately obtained her certificate of being a Certified Nursing Assistant from Webster. For over 40 years, Evangelist Reese worked in her field as a CNA at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, in Private Duty, and also for family members. Irene thoroughly enjoyed evangelizing all over the nation going from place to place, taking the gospel wherever she may go. She was always known for her beautiful smile and for the love she showed.

Evangelist Reese enjoyed traveling and meeting new people in this walk of life as well as dining in different restaurants. She loved taking care of the elderly and praying for all that were in need of prayer. But most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.

At the dawning of December 31, 2018, Evangelist Irene Reese heard the voice of the Master bidding her to come home and take her rest. She had fought the good fight of faith and finished her course here in life.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Thresa Bryant, Perry Albury, Gregrick Reese, Wanda F. Hills, Marilyn Hills, Kevin Hills; siblings, Rosa Baggett, Dr. Betty Jean(Ted)White, Pauline(Joseph)Noble, 20 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

Public visitation for Evangelist Reese will take place on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Home Going services will convene on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Liberty, Truth, & Deliverance tabernacle of God in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. May God continue to comfort your hearts and give the family peace that surpasses all understanding. To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Mama Irene was such an inspiration in my life and she welcomed me in her home in a time when I was lost. She found me and encouraged me in God and living life. She was a classy lady, virtueous woman of God, loving, compassionate and giving of herself. Her smile was so beautiful and touching as her spirit was golden. The angels are rejoicing in heaven to receive one of their own. I’m forever grateful for you being in my life. I love you mama Irene you will never be forgotten;rest in Paradise.
