Obituary For Annie C. Reid

Annie Reid was born on July 26, 1946 to Elizabeth Abrams and James Wright in Douglas, Georgia.

Annie C. Reid was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, FL. She matriculated through the schools of Saint Lucie County with Means Court being one of the schools that she attended. For many years, she worked as a housekeeper at Holiday Inn. Some of her hobbies included cooking, going to church, traveling, and most of all, spending quality time with family.

Late Sunday night, December 30, 2018, Annie C. Reid closed her eyes in a peaceful slumber at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Calvin(Qwensul)Cunningham of Orlando, FL; daughter, Leanna Williams of Fort Pierce, FL; special children, Tavarus Wright, Monique Wright, Aubrey McFarguhar all of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Bobby Joe(Marion)O’Bryant of Texas, James(Lucy)Wright of Georgia; sister, Metrius Wright of New York; grandchildren, James(Eveline)Wilson of Fort Pierce, FL, Tiqruita Wilson of Daytona Beach, FL, Shanteria(Cory)Forte of Lakeland, FL, Juan Brown of Jacksonville, FL, Lidavious Mervil of Fort Pierce, FL, Ashley Cunningham of Jacksonville, FL, Vivan Andrews, Fantasia Adams, Lovell(Charles)Jackson, Yonzee Hall, Bernard Williams, Rontravius Adams, Montravius Adams, Denroy Reid, Jr., Marvelous Reid, Debron Reid, Kaydence Reid all of Fort Pierce, FL, Calvin Cunningham, Jr., of Texas, Josh Cunningham of Orlando, FL; 24 Great Grands; 2 Great Great Grands; Best Friend, Lizzie Mincey; Special Niece, Latrice(Robert)Alford, Very Special Cousins, Robert Harris, Annie Harris; and a host of other family members including nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who will miss her deeply.

Public visitation for Ms. Reid will take place on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL.
