Some of my fondest memories were with my Aunt B. B. because we loved each other, and we loved some many of the same things. During our last time together, we explored Spartanburg’s finest restaurants, shopped “til we dropped,” and giggled late into the night, retelling old family stories and sharing secrets we promised to take to our graves. I am going to miss my friend’s lovely smile, her genuine warmth and her effortless grace ... but how will I survive my Sunday evenings without our multi-hour conversations? The Porter family heavenly circle is now complete: Conway, Sr. and Lucy, Tom, Conway, Jr., Mary, Grace, Elwillie, Louise, Howard, Ollie, Jean, Bessie and the babies I never met ... you’re all home together again.
