Obituary For Baron Rivers
Baron Lorenzo Rivers died on January 1, 2019. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Oakland, Pastor Christopher McKee, Jr. He was also a member of International Longshoremen's Association (I.L.A.) Local 1408 and Paxon High School Class of 1982. His memories will be cherished by his wife, Kimberly Canady Rivers; daughter, Kimberly Gabriella Rivers; sons, Baron Nicholas Rivers, Baron Zachary Rivers; mother, Addie Rivers; father, Lorenzo Reddick (Orlando, FL); mother & father-in-laws, Minnie & Troy Canady; other relatives and many friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at his church First Baptist Church of Oakland, 1025 Jessie Street. The late Mr. Rivers will rest in the church for visitation of friends, Friday, January 4th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again in the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
