Elouise Brown Mann was born January 14, 1945, to the late Corrie and Odessa Brown in Thomaston, Georgia. She was the sixth thirteen children.
Elouise received her early education in Upson County Georgia where she graduated from Drake High School in 1963. She furthered her education at Flint Technical School and became a licensed cosmetologist certified by the State Board of Georgia.
At an early age, Elouise friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. L.C. Culbreath. She loved going to church, singing in the choir, attending Sunday School, Bible Study, and being a member of the Baptist Training Union.
Elouise's passion was her family and taking care of her son. She had a passion for cooking and baking with pies and cakes being her specialty. She loved family gathering, especially during the holidays.
Elouise was preceded in death by her siblings, brothers, A.C. (Albert), Artis, Freddie, Mitchell, Benjamin and Henry and sisters, Mary Kate Risper and Mary Nell Lucear, brothers-in-law, Milve Colbert and Robert Lucear and sister-in-law, Annie Clyde Brown.
On Friday, August 29, 2025, the Lord called Elouise home to rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Thaddeus L. Mann (Tonya Holloway) of Meansville, GA; two grandchildren, Kenton “TK” Mann and LaCreesha Holloway; three great-grandchildren, Chatam Sparks, Khamaryn Mann and Kholsten Mann; a bonus son, Jarvis “Joe” Brown (Dorothea) of McDonough, GA; two sisters, Florence (Clifford) Holsey of Milledgeville, GA and Shelia Colbert of Thomaston, GA; two brothers, Lean Brown of Augusta, GA and Dennis (Linda) Brown of Winston-Salem, NC; brother-in-law, Shedwrick Risper of Thomaston, GA, sisters-in-law, Mable Brown, Nancy Brown and Georgia Brown, all of Thomaston, GA; a Goddaughter, Wendy Ivey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to her niece/caregiver, Amelia “Paulette” Brown for tirelessly providing exceptional care, comfort, love and support.
