Memorial service for Mary Thomas, 86, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Andrew Peoples will officiate.

Mrs. Thomas, who passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at her home in Auburn, Alabama, was born August 26, 1939, in Chambers County, Alabama.

There will be no public viewing.

She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Peggy (Rev. Earnest) Moss, Ruth Peoples Durr both of Auburn, AL, Lois Miles, Angela (Rodney) Wright both of Opelika, AL and Sarah (Anthony) Phillips of Beauregard, AL; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; one sister, Catherine Roberts of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
