Kathleen “Kitty” Bostic Coleman, age 57, of Louisville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 14, 2025, peacefully at her residence.
Public viewing will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.
Celebration of Live will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church, 4800 Highway 1 South, Wadley, GA.
Final resting place will be held, Ebenezer C.M.E. Cemetery, Highway 24 West, Bartow, GA.
Kathleen was born on August 31, 1968, to the late A.G. Bostic and Willie Mae Mountain. She was educated in the Jefferson County School System, attending Louisville High School, and later furthered her studies at Oconee Fall Line Technical College.
In July of 2004, she was united in marriage to the late Frank Coleman II. Together they were blessed with two beautiful children, Kanneeshia and Frank III, who were the joys of her life.
Kathleen was a dedicated member of Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church, where her faith remained strong throughout her life. She was also a loyal and hardworking employee of FPL for more than 10 years. Known for her poise, laughter, and love of a good time, she brought joy to all who knew her. Kathleen enjoyed listening to blues music, attending trail rides, and was a proud member of Rhythm and Moves of Louisville, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Coleman II; her parents; grandparents Ruby Mae Fields Mountain, Isaac Mountain Sr., Grady Moye Sr., and Willie Bell Moye; brothers Hubert Mountain and Grady Moye Jr.; and sister Faye Bostic.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Kanneeshia Coleman of Augusta, GA, and Frank Coleman III of Louisville, GA; her beloved bonus children Tawanaca Williams (Augusta, GA), Uyunta (Jakota) Turner (Wadley, GA), Rodney Coleman (Augusta, GA), Antionette Coleman (Wadley, GA), Maurice Williams (Atlanta, GA), Erica McGruder (Augusta, GA), Cimere Coleman (Louisville, GA), and Shanice Coleman (Augusta, GA); mother-in-law Ruby Lee (James) Marion Sr.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored, including Delarentae, Jakota, Trevyuana, Younique, Jatiya, Aryunna, Jatasia, Brandie, Karmen, Paris, Natalia, Jamauri, Khaden, Laytin, Karli, Dillon, Karson, Demi, Kouri, Summer, Kyndall, Kylie, Kallum, and Kaison.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her godson Tristan Mays; sister Patricia Mountain (Louisville, GA); sisters-in-law Elizabeth Coleman (Swainsboro, GA), Latarsha Marion and April Coleman (Atlanta, GA); brothers-in-law David (Josephine) Coleman (Swainsboro, GA) and James Marion Jr. (Atlanta, GA); aunts and uncles Idella Lewis, Linda (Conrad) Dixon, Theodore Mountain Sr., Dannie (Maggie) Mountain, Isaac Mountain, Betty Bostic Nelson, Gladys (Clarence) Howard, Dorothy (Benjamin) Shinholster, Raye (Shirley) Mountain, Gail (Timothy) Heard, and Wanda Brown; best friend, Mary Hatcher; nieces and nephews Dequale, Ladondray, and Charneal; a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
Kathleen will be deeply missed by her special friend Lewis Jones (Augusta, GA) and her best friends Mary Gibbons, Lisa Kelly, and Jacqueline Sheely.
Her life was a testament of love, laughter, and devotion to family and friends. Kathleen’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
