Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Schesler Mathis, her devoted son, Clarence Mathis, and her cherished grandson, Deron McIntee. Though their absence was deeply felt, she carried their memories in her heart every day.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Waymona Siegel, who was her constant source of pride and joy. Dorothy also leaves behind her dear sisters, Annie Ridgeway and Ida Parks, whose lifelong bond remained unbreakable and her dear brother, Ricky Simmons. Her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched — especially through the generations of nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth, her guidance, and her enduring love.
