Joyce was born on June 23, 1954, in Tallahassee Florida but lived her life in varies cities including Tampa, Atlanta and Chicago. While in Chicago, she started her entrepreneurship journey with opening her maid service business, Joyce and; Ron Maid Service. She carried a spirit of warmth and generosity that never wavered. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and loved, whether through her smile, her humor, or her ability to make any gathering feel like home.
