Betty Carol Williams

Betty C. Williams was born in New York, New York to Dorothy and Raphael Williams Sr on October 6th, 1949. At the age of 14, Betty moved to California with her sister (Leoma) and was educated at Dorsey High School where she received her diploma.

Betty moved back to New York in the early sixties where she continued her education at a private school in Bronx, NY and had five beautiful children throughout the years.

In 1973, while working at a Bank in Manhattan NY, Betty met the love of her life, Mr. John W. Darby. Throughout the years with John by her side, Betty gained employment with several companies, such as The New Yorker Hotel, private cleaning companies in Manhattan, Madison Square Garden and Aramark where she made the choice to retire early in 2021 due to the corona virus outbreak.

Betty departed this life on September 7th, 2025, at Bronx Care and gone on to join her parents; Dorothy and Raphael Williams, Soulmate; John W. Darby. Brother; Alton (Nusey). Son; Raphael Jr. Stepson; John Jr. Brother-In-Laws; Michael, David, Ernest Sr, Richard & Robert. Sister-In-Laws; Matties, Lucille & Flossy. Nieces; Jennifer & Dot. Nephews; Eugene, Jerome, Ernest Jr, & Will.

Betty leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories; Her Daughters; Christina, Taina, Tabitha & Tonya. Son; Trent & Robert. Sister, Leoma. Sister-In-Law; Pernil. Daughter-In-Laws; Sheniquce & Betty. Son-In-Laws; Jermaine, Zachary, Joseph, Paul & Jr. Extended Daughter; Veronica. Favorite nieces; Juliet, Lorraine, Beverly, Brenda, Regina & Ruth. Thirty-one Grand Children. Twenty-Nine Great Grand Children, and a host of family and friends.

Out of Betty’s Thirty-one Grand Children, she had a close relationship with Ashawna, Trent, Travis, Symonee, Talaya, Tariq, Malik, Ethan, Maurice, Darianna, Tianna, Jermaine, Jasmine, Aniyah & Messiah. Even though Betty loved all her grandchildren unconditionally, she had one GOLDEN EGG (NASEAN) (POINTS) who did no wrong in her eyes from birth until her last breath. Nasean meant so much to her and she means so much to Nasean, they were truly “BEST FRIENDS”.

BETTY C. WILLIAMS WILL BE DEARLY MISSED BY ALL LIVES TOUCHED BY HER.
