Ruth Shannon was born in Highland Home Alabama. She attended school at Little Rock Church of Christ in Highland Home AL. She was a member at Sugar Ridge Church Of Christ for many years. She loved going to church and serving the Lord and being around family. Ruth was loved by anyone that she came in contact with, she had a beautiful spirit. She enjoyed laughter, cooking and baking. She worked as a caregiver for many years, and worked hard to provide for her family. Ruth was the true definition of what it looks like to walk in Christ. She opened up her home to anyone that needed a home, She fed anyone who was hungry, She prayed for anyone who needed prayer. She would give anyone the shirt off her back and not expect anything in return. She will truly be missed, but she is where she belongs; in a seat next to the creator, watching over everyone.

In the flesh we want our loved ones here with us. In the flesh we will grieve, cry, and feel pain but, Revelation 21:4 say “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Ruth would always say “I am kickin but not high” which is the perfect symbolism for continuing to push through even if it takes time. Ruth is now kickin with most high, and one day we will meet again, and all be kickin together.

Remember: Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.
