Cotton, Mrs. Kay, a resident of Montgomery, AL, departed this life on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00AM from Oak Street AME Zion Church, Pastor Shaundalyn N. Elliott, officiating with a burial following on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Alabama National Cemetery at 11:45AM.

Mrs. Cotton will lie in repose on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Chapel, and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and services.
