He is survived by his wife, Florence Franks Simmons, Grifton; three sons, Terry Simmons Sr. and Joshua Simmons of Augusta, GA, Christian Simmons, Arizona; brother, Agartha Simmons; sisters, Senia Munford and Stacy Simmons, New Bern, Cynthia Simmons, California;three loving grandchildren.
