On the morning of September 26, 2025, Dorothy Ann Winfrey Gray peacefully entered into eternal rest at the age of seventy-seven.

Dorothy, affectionately known as “Dot,” was born on January 21, 1948, in Richmond County, Georgia. She was the youngest of nine children born to the late Mr. James B. Winfrey and Mrs. Lucille Rouse Winfrey.

She was united in marriage to Isaiah Eugene Gray, and together they were blessed with four children: two sons, Micah Josh Gray and Isaiah Jeremy Gray, and two daughters, Charity Anita Gray and Christy Joy Gray, all of Augusta, Georgia.

Dot dedicated over a decade of service to Covidien before retiring. She was a woman of quiet strength, love, and devotion to her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Micah, Isaiah, Charity, and Christy; one sister, Juanita (Jerry) Leach of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Roosevelt (Mattie) Winfrey of Augusta, Georgia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who loved her deeply.

Public viewing will be an hour prior to the service at Live River Baptist Church, 3404 Jack Kelly Road, Augusta, Georgia, 30906.

A service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Live River Baptist Church, 3404 Jack Kelly Road, Augusta, Georgia, 30906.

Interment will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens 3666 Deans Bridge Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815
