Mary “Mamie” Samuels Pendergrass, 95, widow of Cleveland Pendergrass, Sr., died Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Lake Marion Nursing Facility, Summerton, SC. She was born March 8, 1930 in Manning, SC. A daughter of the late Jack and Bertha Epps Samuels and stepdaughter of Estelle B. Samuels.

Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Friday, October 10, 2025 at Hayes F. Samuels Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.

Celebration of life 11AM Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Cypress Fork AME Church, 5594 N Brewington Rd, Alcolu, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of the daughter, Sheila (Edward) Pendergrass Starks, 4PM til 8PM at 1091 High Hill Lane, beginning Monday, October 6, 2025.
