TYLER--Funeral services for Lonnie Frater, 68, are scheduled for 12 pm, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at John R Harmon Undertaking Company with Elder Ervin Hendricks, eulogist. The service is under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Frater was born November 24, 1956 in Chandler, Texas to both the late Charlie Hendricks and Hattie Frater and he transitioned on September 29, 2025.

He was a graduate of John Tyler High School, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church-Chandler and a former custodian.

Mr. Frater was preceded in death by several sibling. He is survived by his son: Keiston Ward (Tameka) and granddaughter: Jakalay Moore of Tyler, Texas, sisters: Sharlett Brooks (Preston) of Tyler, Texas, Janet Frater of LaMarque, Texas, Pamela Frater of Tyler, Sandra Frater Mackey (Dennis) of Whitehouse, Wanda Hendricks of Tyler; brothers: Jimmie Frater (Myra), Elder Ervin Hendricks (Ruthalene), Larry Hendricks all of Tyler, Rickey Hendricks (Wanda) of Athens.

Public viewing will be Friday, October 3, 2025 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
