Lovelace Preston Gipson II, 83, of Memphis, TN passed away on September 24, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Lovelace was born on January 9, 1942 to Lovelace Preston Gipson and Nellie Harriet Wright in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He is survived by his spouse Amanda Mae Gipson (Lovelace) of Memphis, TN; three daughters, Teresa Arnell Gipson-Lucas, Tamitha H Gipson-Johnson of Cordova, TN, and Tinile L Gipson; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 11:00am at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church 70 N Bellevue Blvd, Memphis, TN 38104.

Internment will be in Forest Hill Midtown 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106
