Mrs. Theresa E. Atkinson transitioned peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at her home in Brunswick Georgia. A public walk-through viewing is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Brunswick Funeral Home, 2700 Albany Street, Brunswick Ga.

The viewing times are from 12 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. & again from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Baptist Church, 1611 '"G" Street, Brunswick Ga. The interment will immediately follow the service in Maxwell Cemetery, Highway 82 and Ratcliff Road 31523, Brunswick Ga.

Although not required, mask wearing is strongly encouraged.
