We pause to remember the life of Mr. Lamont K. Rhynes, born February 19, 1978, and peacefully departed this life on October 4, 2025, at the age of 47.

A native of Greenwood, Florida, Lamont’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his legacy a loving daughter, Mahshaylah Rhynes of Cottondale, Florida; His devoted mother, Ruth Byrd (Jimmie) of Marianna, FL; his father, Monroe L. Rhynes (Wendy) of Greenwood, FL. Brothers, James Rhynes (Carla), Justin Byrd, and step-brother Jarrien Dudley, all of Marianna, FL; sisters, Shemiko Byrd of Marianna, FL; Victoria Rhynes and Krystal Rhynes of Tallahassee, Brianna Rhynes of Ocala, and Genesis Calhoun of Greenwood, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends
