OBITUARY:
On October 5, 2025, one of God's flaming torches was gently extinguished. Willie Earl Webster (Moonie) entered eternal rest, traveling the fields of this world for the peace of Heaven's home.
Willie was born on September 20, 1963, to the late Jessie Webster and Christine Webster, both of whom preceded him in death.
He received his education at Tchula Attendance Center High School in Tchula, MS., where he graduated with the Class of 1982. Known for his humor, loyalty and love for the Dallas Cowboys, Moonie lived his love with joy, grit and faith.
He leaves to cherish his precious and fun filled memories: Seven children- Three sons: Clifton Holmes of Cruger, MS; Prentice Holmes of Peoria, IL and Jeremiah Anderson of Jonesboro, AR. Four daughters: Melanie Holmes of Cruger, MS, Nastarchia Holmes of Clarksdale, MS; Nashundria Givins of Kansas City, MO and Natasha Collins of Greenwood, MS.
Seven sisters: Quinzola Webster and Thelma Webster both of Cruger, MS; Gwendolyn Leahman of Greenwood, MS; Evon Webster of Durant, MS; Clementine Ward of Collierville, TN; Yvonne Brown of Chicago, IL and Loretta Brooks of Cleveland, OH.
Four brothers: James Brown of Cruger, MS; MacArthur Webster of Prairieville, LA; Ezell Blues of Atlanta, GA and Eddie Washington of Cleveland, OH.
He is also survived by one special nephew, Terry Webster of Cruger, MS; seventeen grandchildren who adored him dearly and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
