Jaliya Kindred, 28, of Havelock died Saturday, October 11, 2025 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Her service is Saturday, October 25, 2025 2:00 PM at Hyman Chapel AMEZ Church. The interment will follow at Hyman Chapel Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Jessica Godette of Havelock; one brother, Jayquon Godette, Havelock; three sisters, Jazmine Godette, Huntsville, AL, Jalisa Kindred, Raleigh and Jada Godette, Havelock; grandmother, Gloria Godette, Havelock; great-grandmother, Effie Jane Godette Toon, Clayton, NC.
