A Celebration of Life for James "Jim" Nielson, 65, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

A second Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at All Faiths Funeral Home with Dan Naranjo officiating. Burial of ashes and military honors will immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Full obituary to follow.
