Funeral service for Bobby Joe Ackles 66 "J Money", will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 at noon at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Young Chapel Cemetery, Lineville, AL. Mr. Ackles passed away on October 1, 2025 at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife Mary Ackles: his children: Brittany Ackles, India Ackles (Jeremy Johnson) and Shaquill Ackles; grandchildren: Donna Stallworth, Demarriona Stallworth, Dezmeir Wallace, Audrey Johnson, Cairo Johnson, Gianna Johnson; his siblings: Shunda Williams, Brenda (James) Brown, Sheila Ackles, Kimberly Wood, Gary Ackles, Steve Ackles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Willie B. Ackles and Euna Maude Ackles, brother, Bishop Darren Ackles.
