Bernice Morton

Bernice Morton passed away peacefully at the age of 70 at her home in Boston, Massachusetts on September 25, 2025. Bernice was born on January 11, 1955, in Athens, Georgia to the late Farris and Bessie Morton.

She graduated from Cedar Shoals High School in 1973 and retired from working at Hope Haven in 2018. She is survived by her sister Bessie Nash of Athens, Georgia, her daughter Adetra Martin (Kevin Martin) and granddaughter Journey Martin of Boston, Massachusetts.

A memorial service for Bernice will be held on Saturday Oct 18th 11:00 am at Gardenview Funeral Chapel located at 605 Olympic Drive Athens, GA 30601
