LEON JACKSON, affectionately called “Fish” was born September 4, 1970 in Mecklenburg County, VA to Susie Mae Davis Jackson and the late Luellen Jackson and departed this life October 9, 2025 at his residence in South Hill, VA.

At an early age he was baptized at New Grove Baptist Church in Kenbridge, VA. He was a graduate of Central High School.

Leon was employed for many years until he became disabled.

In his spare time, he loved to laugh with family and friends. He was the life of the party and “Fish” loved, loved to dance.

Leon leaves to mourn his mother- Susie Mae Jackson of South Hill, VA; two sisters- Patricia and Deborah Harris of South Hill, VA; four brothers- Anthony, Leory and John Jackson of South Hill, VA and James Jackson of Richmond, VA; four aunts- Eunice, Mary Ann, Irene and Helen; one uncle- Frank; devoted companion- Jaulinda Reed of the home, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
