Barry Bernard Wynn was born on January 28, 1953 to the late Howard and Katie Wynn in Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Willie Mae Thomas. Barry was united in marriage to Patricia Wynn. He is the father of Matthew Wynn.

Homegoing Celebration will be held Friday, October 17, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Anthony L. Watkins Funeral Home, Hattie G. Watkins Chapel, 163 North Ave, Jonesboro, GA.

Viewing will be held Friday, October 17, 2025, one hour before the service.

Barry accepted the Lord as his personal savior and joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church on May 15, 1999. He was a member under Dr. Nathaniel Hollis. He always dressed sharp for church and he loved listening to Matthew sing in church.

On October 12, 2025, Barry Wynn was called home to be with the Lord.

He leaves to cherish of his memories wife, son, in-laws, friend and brothers, Toy Lee Pittmon Jr. (Ossie) of Blakely, Georgia, Timothy (Keteria) and Marichal (Tamella) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Steven Wynn of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters-in-laws, Barbara Brown (Dennis) and Dorothy Thomas of Wrens, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Sammy Davis Jr. Thomas (Wanda) of Wrens, Georgia and his best friend Champ Holland of California. He has a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives
