Mr. Claude Simmons, age 78, of Joanna SC; went from Labor to Reward on October 17, 2025 at Prisma Heath of Greenville SC.

Claude was born to the late John Earl and Janie Mae Langford Simmons on January 10, 1947 in Newberry County. It was there he was raised and educated. As an adult; he was dedicated to his work at Asten Press and was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Claude was predeceased by his parents.

Those that will cherish his memory for years to come include his wife, Wyline Terry Frye Simmons of the home; his children: Cynthia Simmons - Tinsley, Morgan (Christy) Simmons, Ajor (Kaleb) Johnson, and Terrill Simmons; his step-children: Teresa Frye, Marvelous Frya, Theresa Lynn Frye and Gregory Frye Seven Grandchildren: LeXixa Sheppard, Erykah Thomas, Isaiah Thomas, Morgan Simmons Jr., Az Simmons, Aiyonna Simmons, and Asher Johnson. His siblings: Bennie Lee Simmons, Tommie Lee Simmons, Johnnie Mae Vance, Cora Sales, Azalee Reed; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Services was held on October 25, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Newberry, SC.

The family is grateful for the kindness that was shown during this dark hour. Please continue to pray for the healing of those that loved him dearly.
