Mrs. Joan Louise Chukwu, 66 of Radcliff passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Norton's Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville, KY.

Joan was born to the late James Haskins and Vera Lee “Husband” Haskins, November 19, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Brown; nephews, John Dean and Lenny Richard.

Joan enjoyed playing bingo, spending precious time with her grandchildren, and serving her community through the Eastern Stars, LaRue Chapter No. 110 OES, PHA. She was baptized an early age at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joseph Wells, later attending Antioch Baptist Church under Rev. Daniel. In her later years, she was a faithful and devoted member of New Beginnings in Vine Grove, KY with Rev. O.C. Jones, and Restoration Worship Center in Radcliff under the leadership Pastor Carl Smalls, Jr.

Ms. Chukwu is survived by her son Dewayne Flowers; two daughters, Ada Chukwu, Aster Isaac; four sisters, Patricia Allen, Adrian Dean, Laverne (Leonard) Richard, Jaimmie Smith; and six grandchildren, Alijah Isaac, Sariya Delgado Flowers, Dexton Flowers, Daliah Flowers, A'lynn Lucey, Alliyah Isaac.

Services for Ms. Chukwu will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 3, 2025, at Restoration Worship Center, Radcliff, KY., Pastor Carl Smalls Jr., officiating.

Visitation after 6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Percell & Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.
