On February 18, 1986, God decided He needed a special light with a unique gift that could help spread sunshine in the lives of many; He sent this ray of sunshine in the form of Ashley Shuntaye Donaldson Griffin.
Ashley was a very devoted mother and wife. She was a loving and caring person. She loved her family tremendously and was very passionate about singing. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Although her life may seem too short to many, those whose lives were touched by her know that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity in which you live it. She attended the Brooks County school system and was a proud graduate of the class of 2004. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Universal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her son Quintan Griffin, Jr., and Qualen Griffin; her father Ronnie Donaldson; her father-in-law Stanley Griffin, Sr.; and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
On June 29, 2025, Ashley was granted her angel wings when she stepped into eternity and accepted her place at home with the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Quintan Griffin, Sr.; her pride and joy, her son Quayshun Griffin; her devoted mother, Nancy Donaldson; her siblings, Kendrick Thompson, Latasha Tucker, Dexter Donaldson (T'Aria), and Chandra Hudson (Eddie); and a devoted mother-in-law, Geneva Griffin; her aunts and uncles, Alice (Richard) Newton, Julie Chandler, Ora Huewitt, Marshall (Mary) Key, Donnie (Helen) Donaldson, Rollins Donaldson, Thomas Thompson, Sandra Halloway, Gladys Lawrence, Mary Ann Edwards, Helen Edwards, Jermaine (Valerie) Edwards, and Kevin Edwards, Sr.; her sisters and brother-in-law, Samantha (Craig) Erskire, Darceny Griffin, Corey (Elizabeth) Lafave, Stanley Jr. (Michelle) Griffin, Sonja (Dontrae), and Ya’el Bat Yosef; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
