Mrs. Mamie Lee Williams was born May 3, 1940 in Houston County, Georgia to the late parents Mr. Willie T. and Isabelle Roquemore. She was one of ten children.

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen Williams, Sr.; her son, Dennis Williams; her sister, Julia Mae Davis; brothers, John, Frank, Lewis Roquemore; and great great grandson, Khrome T. Brown.

During her childhood, she attended Houston County Public Schools. Mamie gave over 50 years of service to the Houston County Board of Education.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, Mrs. Mamie Lee Williams exchange her earthly life for an eternal life to be with her personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Although she left us in this life early, she still found the strength to be stubborn as we know her to be to the very end. She truly made a lasting impression in so many people lives. Especially her grand kids and her great grand kids, whom she leaves behind so many memories.

Her memories will forever be treasured by her loving children: Julia Cumby, Allen (Gloria) Williams Jr., Patrica Williams, and Tony Williams; five grandchildren: Sheryl (Tyron) Brown, Bobby (Stephanie) Cumby, Jr., Christopher (Sabrina), Brandon (Clinshay) and Cantrell; 18 great grands; and 1 great great grand; sisters: Annie Buckles, Ruby Williams, and Fannie Hyter; and brothers: Earnest Roquemore and Michael Roquemore; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
