Mrs. Jeanette Kitchens Foster, a cherished resident of Davisboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025. Born to the late Willie Albert Kitchens and Tressie Wicker Kitchens, Jeanette was a beloved daughter who enriched the lives of those around her with her warmth and generosity.

Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Shiloh CME Church, 254 Dillard Street, Davisboro, GA. Interment will be held in Shiloh CME Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home.

A devoted cook, Jeanette worked at Jet Foods Convenience Store, where she was admired for her culinary skills and friendly demeanor. Her passion for cooking extended beyond her professional life, as she found great joy in preparing meals for her family and friends. Jeanette's kitchen was a place where love was the main ingredient, and her dishes brought people together in celebration and comfort.

Jeanette was a dedicated member of the Shiloh CME Church, where she nurtured her spiritual life and formed lasting friendships. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, and she contributed to her community with kindness and compassion.

She was married to the now late Otis Foster, Sr., whose partnership she treasured deeply, for 31 years before his untimely death. They shared dreams and built a life filled with love.

She is survived by her loving children: Otis Foster Jr. (Tekema) of Seattle, Washington; Frederick Foster (Angela) of Bartow, Georgia; Leotis Foster (Kaci) of Stockbridge, Georgia; Erica Foster (Antwan Kelly) of Davisboro, Georgia; and Lenette Foster (Bobby Black) of Davisboro, Georgia. Her family was her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of love, respect, and community.

Jeanette is also survived by her brothers, Floyd Battle and Willie (Sheila) Kitchens of Davisboro, Georgia; and her sisters, Debbie Kitchens of Davisboro, Georgia; Shirley Mincey (Glenn) of Davisboro, Georgia; and Rose (Lee) Carter of Davisboro, Georgia. Her siblings remember her as a caring sister whose laughter and wisdom brightened their lives.

Jeanette's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. Her legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate to have known her. As we celebrate her life, we remember her with gratitude and hold her memory close to our hearts.
