With a multitude of compassion and concern, S. Jones F. and C. announce the earthly departure of Mrs. Carrie Mae Shearin Durham. Mrs. Durham, a former native of Norlina, NC, answered the "Master's Call" and gained her Angelic Wings on October 27, 2025, at the Rocky Mount Rehab.

Services to honor her legacy will begin with a public viewing, 12 pm - 1 pm, Sunday, November 02, 2025, in the chapel of the Harris-Wheless Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 122 W Barbee St, Zebulon, NC 27597. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 pm following the visitation.

Interment will take place at the family's homestead in Norlina.
