Ms. Lillie Mae Wade, age 77, of Athens, GA, passed on October 27, 2025.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughter, Tawanna Powell, two grand-daughters, Kyra Wade and Tremea Powell, and a Bonus son, Sajjad Cheema. She is also survived by her Bonus sister and dedicated cousin, Wanda Moon Ellison; five sisters, Mrs. Amanda (Marion) Dious, Ms. Bonnie Jones, Ms. Deborah Robinson, Ms. Lisa Thomas, and Ms. Ella Jennings; two brothers, Mr. Paul Wade and Mr. Bobby Wade; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Mae Lillie Wise, along with devoted friends Patricia Huff, Sheila Neely-Norman, and Kristin Owens, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ms. Lillie Mae Wade will be Celebrated and Remembered at a Funeral Service, scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Hill First Baptist Church, 205 N Pope St, Athens, GA. A Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home, 1253 West Broad St. Athens, GA 30606
