Larsene Keys Steele, 66, of the Tuscarora Community of New Bern and a native of Jones County was called to rest on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar Steele of the home; two daughters, Latisha Steele, Fayettville, NC and Patrice S. Harvey, New Bern, NC; one sister, Gladys Meadows, Trenton, NC; four brothers, Gary Keys, Trenton, NC, Ned Keys, Ayden, NC, Glenn Keys, Trenton, NC and Calvin Keys, Indiana, IN; six grandchildren.
