Deacon Warren Steve Borders, 74, of Shelby, North Carolina transitioned on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Atrium Health Main – Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was born on September 28, 1951 to the late Weldon David Borders and Jennie B. Roberts Borders.

Warren was a member of Washington Missionary Baptist Church. He received his associate’s degree from Cleveland Community College. He retired from Freightliner.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 9. 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Washington Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

On the day of the service the body will be placed in the church at 1:30 for public viewing.
