Lexter Douthard

Funeral service for Lexter Douthard 93, will be Friday, November 7, 2025 at 1 pm at the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church with Pastor Thyris Banks, officiating. Interment will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Douthard passed away on November 2, 2025. Mr. Douthard's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service.

He was a member of Greater Ebenezer Baptist where he served as the Chairman of the Deacon Board and in other capacities. Mr. Douthard retired from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Oxford, after 30 plus years of service. Mr. Douthard served as a member of the Calhoun County Water Authority-Board of Directors from 1985-2021. He was well known and respected throughout his community.

Survivors include children: Henrietta Johnson, Brenda Watkins, Stanley Douthard, Frederick Douthard-Ridenour (Richard), Dorothera Cunningham (Demetrius), Eleanora Roberts (Tony); his grandchildren: Kirstian, Tony, Chastity, Roddrick (Bri), Ceddrick, Brittany (Robert), Derrick, Demi, Drendan, and Ashley; great grandchildren: Jalen, Jada, Jordyn, Brooklyn, Madison, Isabella, Haylee, Armani, Calli, CJ, Karson, Johani; great-great grandchild: Karter; his sisters: Katherine Thompson and Patricia Tripplett, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie (Robert) Powell, his wife, Maggie Margaret Douthard, in-laws, Paul and Mary Lee Sturkie, sister, Evergene Brown, uncle, Columbus Douthard. Anniston Funeral Service Jeffrey C. Williams 256-236-0319
