Mrs. Laura Mae Traylor Pennymon

Mrs. Laura Mae Traylor Pennymon was born on May 5, 1944, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia to the late Mrs. Patsy Pennymon Traylor and the late Mr. Rozie Traylor, Sr. She attended public school in the Upson County School System. At an early age, joined the Logtown Bethel Church.

During her early adult life, she married Mr. Albert Pennymon. He preceded her in death. She was the mother of one son, Lynn, who she loved dearly. She was employed at Upson Hotel in housekeeping.

Laura Mae was no stranger to anyone. She loved meeting people and loved talking to everyone. She attended and worked in several churches in Thomaston. She loved going to church, singing and traveling with the late Prophet Davis Martin and his wife, Prophetess Willie Lee Martin, along with Sister Jean Searcy and The Gospelettes. One of her favorite pastimes was going out to eat. She loved cooking, shopping and taking care of her brothers.

she was proceeded in death by her parents; one sister, Jennie Lee Fexton; five brothers, willie James Traylor, Charlie Fred Traylor, Rozie Traylor, Jr., Willie Albert Traylor, and Douglas Traylor. On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the Lord called her name. She answered the call and went home to be at rest.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Mr. Lynn (Deon) Pennyman of McDonough, GA; one grandson, Mr. Kenderius Pennyman of Thomaston, GA; and two great-grandchildren, Ae'Ava Pennyman and Kaizen Pennyman both of Thomaston, GA; one devoted nephew, Mr. Curtis (Doris) Traylor of the Salem Community; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
