JOHNEY JAMES STIGALL, affectionately called “Snowball,” son of the late Richard and Mary Walker Stigall, was born January 11, 1959, in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and departed this life November 2, 2025, in VCU-MCV Hospital, Richmond, Virginia. He was also preceded in death by his siblings- Mary Frances Stigall, Alice Stigall, and St. Louis “Boo Cake” Stigall.

Johney attended Mecklenburg County Public Schools. He was employed by Nelson Logging Company for many years until he became disabled.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, eating, and taking a drink with all his family and friends.

Johney leaves to mourn his daughter- Theresa Brown of LaCrosse, Virginia; grandson- Kei’lijah Harding and his dad- Keith Harding of LaCrosse, Virginia; sister- Betty (Ronnie) Brown of Richmond, Virginia; brother- Sandy (Gracie) Stigall of South Hill, Virginia; his very special nephew who he called “Unc”- Deron Brown; his niece who he loved dearly- Tamaneeka Stigall; two great nephews very dear to his heart- Garriell Boyd and Anthony Lambert; devoted friend- Suzette Brown; devoted cousin- Jerry “Slow Motion” Powell, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
