Curtis Wayne Sherod, 70, husband of Carolyn Stokes Sherod died Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1954 in Alcolu, SC. A son of the late Johnny and Violet Frierson Sherod

Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.

Celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Reeseville AME Church, 7764 Sumter Hwy, Alcolu, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
