Prophetess Genal Johnson, (81), of Valdosta, Georgia, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, November 8, 2025, where she stepped from the temporal into the eternal and was received into the loving presence of the Lord.
Born into this life on September 6, 1944, she graced the earth with a gentle spirit, a powerful voice of prayer, and a heart that ministered healing, comfort, and hope to all who encountered her. Her journey was marked by unwavering faith, deep compassion, and a steadfast commitment to God’s calling. She walked with grace. She lived with purpose. She loved with fullness.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Evangel Temple Cathedral Ministries. (2045 Clay Road, Valdosta, Georgia 31601). Bishop Henry E. Wright, Pastor, however, Pastor Jeremy Q. Henry will officiate. Interment will follow immediately after services at the Southview Cemetery.
