Mr. Willie James Howell was born on March 9, 1938 in Morven, Georgia. He blessed the home of Willie and Suzie Lee Howell,where he was raised and matured in their care. Willie James earned his wings on October 29, 2025.

He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Morven, Georgia, where his Mother and other family members attended.

Left to cherish his life and memories are his daughters, Billie Joe Tierney, Janice F. Gilbert, Lorenthia Howard, Willie Howard; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; ex-wife Roberta Howell and a host of loving friends. He will be greatly missed on earth but will always live in our hearts.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Barney, Georgia with Pastor Pernell Adams officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
