Harry Otis Shivers, Jr.

Harry Otis Shivers, Jr, was born August 30, 1989 in Valdosta, GA to the late Harry Otis Shivers, Sr. and Gloria Jean Shivers.

Harry attended the Lowndes County School System and was a graduate of Lowndes High School. Harry worked at Lowe’s Distribution Center as a warehouse worker, McDonald’s and Popeye’s as a line cook.

Harry was a shining light in every life that he touched. A devoted son to his parents and a loving brother to his siblings. A beloved friend and associate to countless others.

On Sunday, November 9, 2025 at South Georgia Medical Center, God called his angel to join Him by his side.

Harry is preceded in death by his devoted and loving parents, Harry Otis Shivers, Sr. and Gloria Jean Shivers; grandparents, Mose Thomas, Sarah Copeland Shivers, Ansel and Luneal Tucker; aunts and uncles, Frank Register, Bernard Jones, Thomas Shivers, Mary Shivers, Geraldine Tucker and Larry Tucker; great aunts and uncles, George Copeland, Ben Copeland, Leo Fuller, Lela McFarland, L.B. McFarland, Shirley Tucker, Ander Tucker, Evelyn Tucker, Eddie B. Tucker, Glovelle Tucker and Johnny B. Tucker; a special friend, Johnny B. Wright.

Harry leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Alfre Johnson (Tonya); three sisters, Naressia Billington (Lawrence), Sharlene Davis (Ervin) and Wanda Thomas; seven aunts, Mary Alice Bolton (Calvin), Angela Register, Carolyn Jones, Mozetta Shivers, Debra Holley, Georgia Ann Porter and Victoria Hill; three uncles, Charlie James (Sonya), Anderson Tucker and Leroy Copeland (Patricia); three great aunts, Mary Lou Copeland, Vernell Copeland and Wilma Fuller; special friends, Crystal Byrdsong, Leroy Wright and Gregory Wright; sixteen nieces and nephews, thirty-one great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and other friends that he loved dearly.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
