Mr. Chester Leon Collins of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life eternal on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4898 Pope Chapel Circle in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Reverend Larry Brown is the pastor.

Interment will be in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenwood, Florida.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious yet fonder memories, a loving family:

Two Sisters: Tammy Collins of Greenwood, Florida; and Estella Johnson of Marianna, Florida

Niece: Serena Collins of Tallahassee, Florida

Grand Nephew: Chauncey Warren of Tallahassee, Florida

Special Cousin: Lester Forrest, Jr. of Greenwood, Florida

And a host of cousins, relatives and sorrowing friends.
