Memorial Services for Mr. Mose Ancrum, 88, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia.

Mr. Mose “Bobby” Ancrum, native of Orangeburg, South Carolina, was born November 16, 1936. He died Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the age of 88 years old.

Mr. Ancrum was the son of the late Jesse and Pearl Davis Ancrum.

Mr. Ancrum was preceded in death by his siblings: Freddie Ancrum, Jesse Ancrum, Robert Ancrum and Shedrick Ancrum.

He was a member of Mt. Calvery Baptist Church, Orangeburg, SC.

He proudly served in the United States Army and later worked at Utica Tool Company as a Quality Control Inspector.

He was formerly married to Albertha Stroman Ancrum, and from this union, they were blessed with two children.

He is survived by his two children: Rosalyn Vartina and Carlos Antonio (Rosemarie); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and acquaintances.
