Dorothy Joyce Marie Tate Robertson, 71, of Baton Rouge, LA, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 29, 1954 in Independence, LA to the late George Tate and Hazel Watson Tate Thomas. A proud graduate of Port Allen High School and Spencer College, Dorothy had a joyful spirit and cherished her time sewing, fishing, shopping, and enjoying music.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Tracy Desselle, Trina Robertson Young, Mark Breaux, Charles Robertson, Jr., Johnell Robertson, and Aryo Flemings; her sisters, Ruthy Bachemin and Arniece Tate; and her grandchildren, Shalissa Tate, Kameron Breaux, Kayla Helm, Jamar Robertson, Kendall Robertson, Rason Robertson, and Devonte Robertson.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Robertson and Thomas Perry; her parents; and her brother, Bobby Tate.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend George Watson officiating. Services are entrusted to Hall Davis and Son Funeral Service.
