Ms. Frankie Rogers was born August 21,1949. She was the older child of
the late Rev. Clemon and Mattie Rogers.
She graduated from Norris High School i n 1963. I n February 7 , 1982 she
started working at the VA Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She worked there until
November 15, 2015 when her supervisor realize she had been there her
entire career. They processed her retirement that day. Frankie worked
there 33½ years, serving our veterans.
She was preceded i n death by her patents, Rev. Clemon Rogers and Mattie
Rogers; brothers, ED Garlington o f Attalla AL, Clemon Rogers o f Gads-
den, AL, Walter Garlington o f North Fork, VA, Roy Rogers o f Atlanta
GA; sisters, Beatrice Rasberry, Altoona AL, Catherine Harris, Gadsden,
AL.
She leaves t o mourn a daughter, Mattie Rogers, Altoona AL; granddaugh-
ter, Alexandra Hagler, Altoona, AL; sisters, Lucille Marbury, Attalla, AL,
and Estella Rogers, Altoona, AL, and a family full o f love for her.
Graveside service will be12:00 noon Monday, November 24,2025 Rainbow Memorial.
