Reginald Juluis Jones Sr., a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, left this world on November 13, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on March 18, 1975, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the union of the late Betty Anderson & the late John Jones, Reginald lived a life filled with laughter, love, and a passion for the simple pleasures that made every day remarkable.
As the General Manager of the former High-Tech Packaging, Reginald dedicated himself to his work in the trucking industry, but his true essence shone through in his many roles outside the office. A coaching dynamo for the Toledo Mid City Lions, he encouraged and inspired young athletes, sharing his love of sports, especially for his cherished Cleveland Browns and Michigan Wolverines. Whether on the sidelines or in the stands, he brought a spirit that was infectious, and his sports fanaticism was a thread that wove through the lives of everyone around him.
Reginald was not just a lover of sports; he found joy in life through grilling and BBQs, often the first to fire up the grill for family gatherings. He could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and had a penchant for lighthearted jokes that reminded us all to not take life too seriously. An enthusiast of nature and the outdoors, he cherished fishing trips and quiet moments spent with those he loved.
A dog rescuer at heart, Reginald dedicated time to whisper training and ensuring that dogs found their forever homes. His compassion extended beyond humans; he believed in giving every creature a chance at happiness.
Reginald leaves behind his cherished children: Reginald Jones Jr., Jujuan Adkins, Raquan Jones, Reginae Jones, and Raivon Jones. He is survived by his loving brother, Kendall Jones, and sister, Zuri Lazaro. Each of them carries a piece of his legacy forward.
A celebration of Reginald’s life will take place on November 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave, with a memorial service where friends and family will gather to share stories, laughter, and fond memories.
As we remember Reginald Juluis Jones Sr., let us not dwell on the sadness of his passing but celebrate the joy he brought into our lives. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in every shared laugh, every game played, and every dog rescued. Rest easy, Reginald; you will be missed, but your fun-loving spirit will forever be our guiding light.
